What do you enjoy about providing care?

I feel privileged that people let me into their lives to manage issues they wouldn't feel comfortable discussing with many others. It's incredibly rewarding to know my patients trust me to provide care.

What do you enjoy in your spare time?

I enjoy spending family time with our dog, Buster Dean. You can often find the whole family in the yard playing with him—he even joins my husband and son in playing soccer!

Why is screening for colon cancer so important?

Screening for colon cancer is the ONLY way to catch, and even prevent it. I always tell patients there are multiple options that can detect colon cancer, but only a colonoscopy can catch polyps and prevent cancer!
